If WhatsApp is what you're buying for, pick WhatFlow over AiTrillion. WhatFlow is built for WhatsApp on Shopify: official Meta Cloud API, COD confirmation that tags orders through Shopify Flow, live catalog sharing, a team inbox with no seat fees and every feature on the Free plan. AiTrillion is a well-rated loyalty, reviews and email suite that added WhatsApp campaigns in 2026, and it's priced by how many orders you take.

When testing WhatFlow and AiTrillion, ask: Which Shopify audience do you already use? In WhatFlow, test a Shopify customer or segment send, then try scheduling a separate Inbox broadcast from a spreadsheet or existing conversations. The campaign walkthrough shows the test send, reply handoff and recipient report.

A note on how merchants see WhatFlow. Plenty still assume it's an unofficial-API tool for very small shops. WhatFlow WhatsApp Business API runs on the official Meta Cloud API, connects through Meta Embedded Signup in Shopify admin, and is built to scale, with Shopify Flow automation and a shared inbox where every seat is free. Small stores can still start on the Free plan.

How does AiTrillion's pricing compare?

AiTrillion's Shopify listing prices every plan by monthly orders, with the same suite on each:

  • Starter: $9/month, up to 50 orders.
  • Basic: $19/month, up to 150 orders.
  • Growth: $49/month, up to 300 orders.

Meta's per-message fees apply to both, so they don't change the comparison. Our WhatsApp Business API pricing guide covers the October 2026 Meta changes.

To be fair, AiTrillion's price buys loyalty points, reviews, email and memberships too. But if you already have those covered, order-based pricing means a good sales month raises your WhatsApp bill even when you send the same messages. WhatFlow's bill moves only with sending.

Which one fits Shopify workflows better?

AiTrillion's March 2026 launch post adds WhatsApp as an action in its own workflow automation, with broadcasts, abandoned cart reminders and order and delivery updates. That's useful for marketing.

WhatFlow is built around the conversation and the order. It adds WhatsApp triggers (incoming message, order reply) and actions (send template, text, media) to Shopify Flow, so a customer's reply can change the order:

Hi Rohan, thanks for order #3942 (₹1,850, cash on delivery). Shall we ship it today? [Confirm order] [Cancel order]

Confirm tags the order cod-confirmed. Cancel flags it for review or cancels it. The COD reply guide shows the setup, and Shopify Sidekick can draft the workflow for you.

Then there's the live chat side. When a customer asks for "the blue one in M", a WhatFlow agent shares the live catalog item straight from the inbox. Our catalog support guide explains how to keep it accurate.

Team inbox and enterprise readiness

WhatFlow's team inbox has assignment, filters, saved replies and catalog sharing, and seats are free at any team size. Templates go through Meta's official approval, business profiles are green-tick eligible through Meta, and automation runs on Shopify Flow. That's the setup a 20-person support team needs, not just a side hustle.

AiTrillion's listing references WhatsApp chat and an inbox but doesn't publish seat terms, so ask them how many agents are included before you plan a team around it.

How do you switch from AiTrillion to WhatFlow?

Moving is a short checklist, and the order matters:

  1. Install WhatFlow WhatsApp Business API from the Shopify App Store and start on the Free plan.
  2. Connect your WhatsApp number through Meta Embedded Signup inside Shopify admin. If the number is still connected to AiTrillion, ask them how to release or migrate it first.
  3. Recreate your key templates in WhatFlow's template editor (COD confirmation, abandoned checkout, shipping update) and submit them to Meta for approval.
  4. Keep AiTrillion for loyalty and reviews if you like them. Remove the WhatsApp actions from its workflows that WhatFlow will now own, so the same customer doesn't get two messages for one order.
  5. Invite your whole team to the inbox. There's no seat fee, so include the warehouse and weekend cover too.
  6. Turn on the theme-matched chat button and send yourself a test order before going live.

When AiTrillion might still make sense

Pick AiTrillion if you want loyalty, reviews and email from one vendor, you're under 300 orders a month, and WhatsApp is mostly for broadcasts. It also offers an AI chatbot. WhatFlow has no built-in AI bot; instead WhatFlow's MCP connector lets you connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to draft replies a person approves.

The bottom line

For WhatsApp on Shopify, WhatFlow is the specialist and the better value: official Meta Cloud API, COD confirmation through Shopify Flow, catalog sharing, a free-forever theme-matched chat button and a no-seat-fee team inbox, all on the Free plan. Keep your loyalty app if you love it, and run WhatsApp on WhatFlow.
