For a Shopify store that runs orders, COD and support through WhatsApp, WhatFlow is the better choice than Richpanel. WhatFlow runs on the official Meta Cloud API and puts COD confirmation, abandoned checkout recovery, broadcasts and native Shopify Flow actions on every plan, including Free. Its team inbox has no seat fees. Richpanel is a good AI-first helpdesk, but each human seat costs $99 a month on annual billing.
And if you still think of WhatFlow as an unofficial-API tool for tiny shops, that's our older linked-device app, Chat Automation. WhatFlow WhatsApp Business API is the official-API product, rated 5.0 on the Shopify App Store, and built to carry a large team: inbox assignment and filters, Shopify Flow automation, catalog sharing, admin extensions and no seat fees at any size.

What does Richpanel really cost next to WhatFlow?
Richpanel's pricing page is clear: the Helpdesk plan is $99 per seat per month on annual billing, or $119 month to month, with "no per-ticket fees." AI agents run about $0.20 per conversation, with a $200 monthly AI minimum. Returns & Exchanges is a paid add-on from $99 a month. Its Shopify listing shows a PRO plan at $89 a month with additional users at $89 each, so check which you're quoted.
Here's a 10-person support team, using the pricing page figures:
Richpanel (annual) | Richpanel (monthly) | WhatFlow | |
|---|---|---|---|
Seats | 10 × $99 = $990 | 10 × $119 = $1,190 | $0 |
Platform plan | Included | Included | $29 (Growth, 20,000 messages) |
Monthly total before Meta fees | $990 | $1,190 | $29 |
Double the team for Black Friday and Richpanel's seat line doubles too. WhatFlow's doesn't, because there isn't one. If you need more messages, you move up a plan: Scale is $49.99 for 40,000 and Ultimate is $99 for 75,000. Current amounts are always on our pricing page.
Meta's WhatsApp fees apply either way. Since October 1, 2026, only the first 1,000 service messages per business number each month are free, and utility templates inside the customer service window are charged. Meta's pricing doc has the rules, and our WhatsApp Business API pricing guide explains them in plain English.
Which is better at Shopify WhatsApp workflows?
WhatFlow. Richpanel is designed to resolve support tickets, and it does that well across email, chat, social and WhatsApp. A WhatsApp-first Shopify store needs more than that: it needs to start conversations with Meta-approved templates and turn customer replies into order actions.
WhatFlow does exactly that:
- A COD order comes in. Shopify Flow fires WhatFlow's template action.
- The customer gets a confirmation with reply buttons.
- They tap "Confirm". WhatFlow's order-reply trigger runs in Flow, which tags the order for fulfilment. "Cancel" can cancel it instead.
Hi Omar, your order #2093 (1 × Linen Sofa Cover, AED 249, cash on delivery) is ready to pack. Tap Confirm to ship it today or Cancel to cancel.
Add abandoned checkout recovery, shipping updates, review requests and broadcasts, all from the same app and all on the Free plan. Our Shopify Flow automation guide shows how these workflows are built without API knowledge. Richpanel's pricing page and WhatsApp setup guide don't describe COD confirmation, cart recovery or broadcasts over WhatsApp.

Can WhatFlow handle an enterprise support team?
Yes. WhatFlow's team inbox gives every agent the same WhatsApp number, with assignment, filters, saved replies and live catalog sharing. There's no seat fee, so adding your 11th, 30th or 60th agent costs nothing in seats. That changes how you staff: you can give warehouse, finance and marketing people access for the conversations they own without a budget conversation.
When testing WhatFlow and Richpanel, ask: Can a second agent tell who owns the conversation without asking? In WhatFlow, use Needs reply and Closing soon, claim a conversation, then check Shopify order context and leave a private note. The team inbox walkthrough gives you a repeatable test for two agents, with no per-seat fee.
Richpanel's model works the other way. Each extra person is $99 to $119 a month, so many teams end up sharing logins or keeping occasional helpers out of the inbox. Neither is good for customers.
And on the connection, WhatFlow sits on Meta's official Cloud API with Embedded Signup from Shopify admin: official templates, green-tick-eligible business profile and Meta's messaging limits that rise with good quality.
When might Richpanel still make sense?
Pick Richpanel only if you specifically want AI agents resolving a large share of tickets across email, chat and social, plus its Returns & Exchanges add-on, and you're comfortable paying per seat. Some stores run both, with Richpanel on email and WhatFlow owning WhatsApp.
The bottom line
Richpanel is a helpdesk that includes WhatsApp. WhatFlow is a WhatsApp operation built for Shopify, on the official Meta Cloud API, with COD confirmation, cart recovery, broadcasts and Shopify Flow automation on every plan, and a team inbox that never charges per seat. For a 10-person team that's the difference between roughly $990 a month in seats and $0. Start free and see.
Questions worth asking
Is WhatFlow a good Richpanel alternative for WhatsApp?
Yes, if WhatsApp is a core channel for your Shopify store. WhatFlow runs on the official Meta Cloud API and includes COD confirmation, cart recovery, broadcasts, catalog sharing and Shopify Flow actions on every plan, with no seat fees for the team inbox.
How much does Richpanel cost per agent?
Richpanel's pricing page lists the Helpdesk plan at $99 per seat per month on annual billing and $119 on monthly billing, as of November 2026. AI agents are billed separately at about $0.20 per conversation with a $200 monthly minimum.
Does Richpanel support WhatsApp?
Yes. WhatsApp is included in Richpanel's Helpdesk plan, and its help center describes connecting through 360dialog's embedded signup. Richpanel is positioned as a support helpdesk rather than a WhatsApp marketing and order-automation tool.
Can WhatFlow replace Richpanel's AI?
Not with a built-in AI bot. WhatFlow has no AI agent of its own and no per-conversation AI fees. You can connect the AI you already use through WhatFlow's MCP connector, so Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can read chats and draft replies a person approves. WhatFlow itself handles WhatsApp automation through Meta-approved templates and native Shopify Flow, with a human team inbox that has no seat fees.
