For a Shopify store that wants WhatsApp for orders and support, WhatFlow is the better choice than HubSpot Service Hub. WhatFlow connects WhatsApp to Shopify orders and Shopify Flow, and your whole team shares one inbox with no seat fees. HubSpot is an excellent CRM, but its WhatsApp inbox needs a Professional or Enterprise subscription, and Service Hub Professional starts at $90 per seat a month plus a $1,500 onboarding fee.

How much does HubSpot cost for WhatsApp support?

Now run the numbers for a typical store team of five: three on support, two in the warehouse answering delivery questions.

  • HubSpot Service Hub Professional: 5 × $90 = $450 a month, plus $1,500 up front. That's $6,900 in the first year before Meta's WhatsApp fees.
  • WhatFlow Plus: $9.99 a month with 5,000 sends included, before Meta fees. No onboarding fee, no charge per person.

Even at higher volume the gap stays wide. As of November 2026, WhatFlow Scale is $49.99 for 40,000 sends and Ultimate is $99 for 75,000. The full list is on our pricing page. Our Shopify app cost audit is a good template for laying seat fees, onboarding and usage side by side.

Which one fits Shopify order work better?

Most WhatsApp messages a store gets are about orders. The right tool sends order messages without anyone typing them and puts the order in front of whoever replies.

WhatFlow does that natively. Order confirmations, shipping updates and abandoned checkout reminders go out as WhatsApp templates filled with Shopify data. COD orders get a confirmation message with reply buttons, and Shopify Flow tags or cancels the order based on the answer:

Hi Khalid, your order #1876 (SAR 260, cash on delivery) is ready. Please confirm and we'll ship today. [Confirm] [Change address] [Cancel]

You can share products from your live catalog right inside a chat and send review-request links after delivery. The WhatFlow and Shopify Flow guide walks through the triggers and actions.

HubSpot's strength is the shared CRM record: marketing, sales and service teams all see the same contact history. That's valuable for a B2B company or a large brand with separate departments. For a Shopify store whose WhatsApp traffic is mostly "where's my order?", a CRM sits one step away from the order itself. We wrote about that trade-off in Shopify-native WhatsApp vs an external dashboard.

What does the team inbox look like?

WhatFlow isn't just a tool for small shops. WhatFlow WhatsApp Business API runs on the official Meta Cloud API, and the inbox is built for real support teams: assignment, filters, saved replies and Shopify order context, with no seat fees whether you have 3 agents or 50. For WhatsApp-first support, it's a serious team tool, not a lightweight add-on to a CRM.

The Labels view shows where a team can organize threads with shared labels.

WhatFlow's shared team inbox has assignment, filters and saved replies. Anyone can pick up a chat, see the history and answer with the order in context:

Thanks for your patience. Your order shipped this morning and the tracking link is here: [link].

Because seats are free, the packer, the founder and the weekend part-timer can all be in the inbox. On per-seat pricing at $90 a head, most stores keep those people out, and customers wait while questions get passed around.

One honest trade-off: WhatFlow has no built-in AI bot, and HubSpot sells AI features across its hubs. If AI is central to your support plan, weigh that, and note that WhatFlow's MCP connector lets Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor read Live Inbox chats and draft replies a person approves, using the AI subscription you already pay for.

When might HubSpot Service Hub still make sense?

Pick HubSpot if your company already runs marketing and sales on HubSpot, you need one CRM record across departments, and WhatsApp is one channel in a larger service operation with the budget to match.

The bottom line

If your Shopify customers reach you on WhatsApp, WhatFlow does the job directly and costs a fraction of a HubSpot Professional seat bill. You get the official Meta Cloud API, native Shopify Flow, COD confirmation and an inbox with no seat fees, with every feature on the Free plan. Start with WhatFlow, and bring in HubSpot when you need a company-wide CRM.
