DecisionFor a store with a normal Shopify checkout, I’d use WhatFlow’s free theme button and build the order updates and team inbox behind it. You can support the checkout customers already use without adopting a separate quote workflow.I’d trial Click2Chat if bespoke quotes are the main way you close sales. WhatFlow is my preference when orders originate in Shopify and the job is recovering checkouts, confirming COD and following up after purchase.

What does Click2Chat do well?

Click2Chat offers a customizable storefront button linked to a WhatsApp number. Its paid tier takes a different direction: quote requests, custom prices, customer approval, payment links and order creation in Shopify. See the Shopify listing.

What does the setup cost?

The button is listed as free forever. Quotes & Sales Pro is $6.99/month after a seven-day trial, according to the listing.

For a storefront button alone, both can start at $0. The $6.99 Click2Chat tier buys the quote workflow; the $4.99 WhatFlow tier buys a larger message allowance. Pick the job first. Check current WhatFlow pricing for allowances and overage rates.

How would I test it in a Shopify store?

Imagine a buyer needs twelve chairs with a custom fabric. An approval and payment-link process can make sense. If the buyer just wants to know whether a stock chair fits through their door, a chat and the regular Shopify checkout are likely enough.

Run one quote from request to Shopify order if you need that workflow; otherwise test a storefront message, an order update and a staff handoff.

When testing WhatFlow and Click2Chat, ask: Can you send the right product variant from the same conversation? In WhatFlow, share a catalog item in the inbox and test the Shopify checkout link from a sample WhatsApp cart. The catalog walkthrough shows the steps and where Shopify verifies payment.

Which one would I choose?

I’d trial Click2Chat if bespoke quotes are the main way you close sales. WhatFlow is my preference when orders originate in Shopify and the job is recovering checkouts, confirming COD and following up after purchase.

For WhatFlow in this comparison, I mean the official Cloud API app. I’d pilot it on Free with the shared inbox and the Shopify Flow actions you expect to use. Once the customer journey works, size the messaging plan from the sends you actually expect.
